Resilience & Work Transition Support

Specialist support for Future Employment Support, WorkWell and Worklessness Programmes

Xena Consultancy has developed a specialist work, health and sustainable employment offer for organisations delivering Future Employment Support, WorkWell, worklessness and wider employment programmes.

Our interventions are designed to sit alongside existing employment provision, adding focused support where health, confidence or wider life circumstances may be affecting someone’s ability to move towards work, return to employment or remain well in work.

Support can be delivered through individual interventions, small-group sessions, short programmes or targeted in-work support, depending on the needs of the service and its participants.

Our specialist support includes:

Resilience, Confidence & Work Transition

Practical support for people experiencing unemployment, redundancy, significant change or disruption, helping rebuild confidence, manage uncertainty and develop realistic next steps towards employment, training or wider participation.

Mental Health, Wellbeing & Sustainable Employment

Support focused on helping people understand the conditions they need to remain well in work, including stress and anxiety, confidence, emotional regulation, boundaries, recovery, early warning signs and practical approaches to staying well.

Physical Health & MSK Support

Delivered in partnership with Bolton-based physiotherapy company Mega Physio, this strand is led by qualified physiotherapists and supports people where pain, fatigue, reduced mobility or physical health may be affecting work readiness or employment sustainability. Support can include movement, pacing, workplace activity and practical approaches to managing physical health in working life.

Neurodiversity & Reasonable Adjustments

Practical, strengths-based support helping people understand how they work best and identify barriers relating to communication, sensory environments, memory, organisation, executive functioning and workplace expectations. Support can also help translate identified needs into realistic workplace adjustments.

Carers & Work

Specialist support for people balancing employment with unpaid caring responsibilities, exploring the practical, emotional and financial pressures that can affect work, alongside flexibility, adjustments and the conditions needed for employment to remain sustainable.

Employer, Manager & In-Work Support

Where appropriate, support can continue beyond job entry, including reasonable adjustments, return-to-work conversations and helping employers and managers understand individual needs.

Support is flexible and can be commissioned as individual interventions or combined into a wider specialist offer alongside an existing employment pathway.

If you are developing or delivering a Future Employment Support, WorkWell, worklessness or wider employment programme, get in touch to discuss how Xena’s specialist offer could complement your existing provision.
